1. Young adults should undertake unpaid work to help people in the community. To what extent do you think it brings more drawbacks to the community and the young adults than benefits?
2. Mobile phones and the Internet are useful tools. However, not many elderly people use them. In what ways can mobile phones and the Internet be useful to elderly people? How can elderly people be encouraged to use them?
3. It is known to all that the technological and scientific advances have made greater changes to the range and quality of our food. Some people regard it as an improvement while others believe that the change is harmful. Discuss both views and give your own opinion.
4. Currently many people fail to balance the work with the other parts of lives.What are the reasons and how to solve it?
5. Today, it is common that TV news programmes show the images of disasters and violence to the public. Discuss the reasons and the effects on the individual and the society.
6. Individuals can do nothing to improve the environment. Only governments and large companies can make a difference. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this opinion?
